Michael Miller

From the band's beginning, Michael has been playing guitar and writing for Blue Stew from which four critically acclaimed CDs were produced. He toured extensively throughout the '70s and in 1980-'81 attended the prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA where he became connected to the California songwriter community. From Blue Stew's "Stumbling Blocks and Stepping Stones", one of Miller's compositions (Nobody's There) can be heard on the Warner Bros. T.V. show "Elimidate". (mpmiller.bluestew.com)

Kirk Maxson

Kirk formed Blue Stew from the remains the late Ventura guitarist, Buddy Smith's band. Kirk has been a steady working bass player for nearly forty years. Most notably with the Fender Bros., Pontiax, as well as local legends The R and B Bombers.

Randy Kizer

Randy Played with local legends, The Decades, some forty years ago. Since then he has worked steady as a freelance drummer/singer for countless So. California acts of all kinds. He's also an acomplished recording engineer working with such legends as Mick Fleetwood and Spencer Davis among others. Randy has been with the band since summer of 2005.

Steve White

From famed Ventura bands The Convertibles and Steve White and the Barstool Pigeons, Steve has been filling John's chair while he's been away. Easily the most versatile in the band. Steve plays tenor sax, keys, guitar, harmonica, flute as well as some very soulful vocals. Steve is also an accomplished songwriter. He penned most of the material for his critically acclaimed cd, "What's A Man To Do".
